Default fiesta rs turbo overheating!!! :( help!!

can anybody help me please? i recently brought a frst that supposedly had worn valve stem seals. on driving the car home the stupid thing overheated so i got the valve stem seals done, aswell as a new headgasket, water pump etc. all done by prof by the way. run the car up, still smokes but found this to be the turbo and to my utter dissappoinment thte car overheated again. i managed to buy another engine from (pete,rs specialsits) cheers again, and the bloody thing is still overheating.
does anybody have the slightest clue what this could be?? by the way the heaters are working fine, blowing hot

are you sure its overheating and not a faulty temp gauge, when you say its overheating is the water bubbling up and are the hoses very hot and also are your cooling fans working??

CANT see both engines over heating without a common REASON so I'd change the thermostate or maybe check the rads not fucked! or as above check that the gauge is working/ready properly

since the first time ive already changed the dials so i dont think it could be the guage.the fan cuts in but it doesnt do anything, the hoses seem to be warm and the thermostat is new

I'd say blocked rad or the water pump is fucked, rad more so if ur saying it overheated while driving.

Also the comment about the fan being wired the wrong was is a good one, causes no end of trouble if its wrong.......instead of pushing nice cool air through to cool, it will suck all the hot air off the turbo and engine out through the rad and it will never cool down.

have you changed the temp sender and fan switch?? if your temp sender is fucked you will still get an incorrect reading on the dial
