i have no rev counter on the clocks in my escort.. and ive just recently bought sum white dial rs2000 clocks with the rev counter.. any help on fitting clocks so the rev counter works.. like parts needed and were it wires up to? its a mark 5 escort 1994 5 door

sorry.. being an idiot... so i need to run one wire to the posotive ignition switch , one to the battery negative or bodywork and one to the coil feed?? i thought it had to be attached to the gearbox ....??

spot on

gauge is electrical not mechanical i.e. reads coil pulses rather than cable fed like your speedo
