Having decided I am now a member of the fat club ive decided to go on a bit of a diet and lose some blubber!!
Weight wise isn't a problem as im only 11 1/2stone (5 foot 9), its just me belly and me face.
Whats the best ways of dietting / fitness i can do. I dont want to join a gym as i dont have the time, but i do have a treadmill / eliptical trainer at home. My main concern is what kind of foods i should / shouldn't be eating.

Admittedly, im nearly 6 foot 4, but im erm............ 17.5 stone, but not fat mind
I dont eat breakfast, which i think is where im goin wrong, so now i've joined a gym (when the legs better) probably end up havin a heart attack on the treadmill

Atkins is good for weight loss, but wont get you 'healthy', combine it with some work on your treadmill though and you should get some good results. The key is to stick at it though. Give it a few weeks and you should feel the benefits. It'll be worth the rewards

). I go on the mill sometimes and push myself etc... go on bike rides, walk quite hastely to and from work etc.... Me bird thinks its down to beer which is probably right. Saying that I only drink maybe once or twice a week at weekends, quite excessively though.
Im not fussed about 6 packs and sh1t like that, just want to be thinner!! (worried about not being able to see me cock in years to come!!

You may only weigh 11.5 stone, but if you have a gut and a bit round you r chin, it suggests your percentage bodyfat may be quite high. You don't necessarily have to be heavy to be on the wrong side of the percentage bodyfat count. This could still leave you with high cholesterol etc!.

since i got ma license last june i've lost 3 stone
its damn good exercise and well builds up arm muscles
im 6ft 4" and now bang on 12stone

You need to stay around the same weight(or more or less depends on you) but change your body composition. If you don't want to get any heavier then by changing your diet and doing some exercise, you will change your body to more of a leaner composition(you would probably loose weight here though). Alternatively, if you went to the gym and lifted weights, as opposed to long walks, bike rides etc then you would probably maintain your weight, but your composition would change. You would effectively get "leaner" with a higher percentage of lean weight and a lower percentage of bodyfat.

Chris you need to tone up mate, same build as me. Im 5'9 and 11 stone 8 and have a beer belly. I would not go on a diet for that no way....especially Atkins. Just need to tone up and do sit ups but fuck that i work hard enough through daay without excersising too

im 5ft 11 and weigh 18 stone, ive been going to the gym about a year and not changed my eating habits thats why im still big but bulkier on top. ive gotta stop going to maccas
give me a pm and i will tell you how me and all my mates lost our weight. i would put it up here but u never know who is reading it. i went from a 36" waist to a 32" in about six weeks and one of my mates was 19 stone and went to 15 stone!!!!!

most important thing is your diet, make sure you are eating regular meals of a nutritous content!! dont skip breakie, or any meal for that matter and then once thats sorted start moderate exercisin.
you dont have to go mad, once your diet is in check the small amount of exercise will kick start the weight loss and it will come of quicker than you would think!
