dont actually live in London but have been commuting to the City for over 7 years now. Personally fookin hate the place. Full of stuck up City to55ers, too busy, too many buses / taxis / couriers, and as PeteH said, no one gives a sh1t about anything else.
Only decent thing is in my line of work (IT) money is a lot better up here than working local.

i was in london on a course once
and i never normally do the sight seeing,
but when i was situated in centre, i loved it, walked around places, caught the tube, and generally loved it.
can be expesive but if ya just visiting, who cares

i live and work in london fukin hate the place full of immagrants and tossers the mayor is a dip shit the prime minister is even worse. stay up in scotland bin there a few times there are some nice places there. as soon as i can im either moving deep into surrey or back to kent.

I hate the place, used to commute every day into it and I can confirm that...
1) Its a fookin rip off to travel around/buy anything
2) Way to crowded with people that are quite happy to stamp over your feet than say excuse me
3) Shat public transport that is so struggling with weekend shop let alone the rushour
4) Full of bloody thieves and pickpockets (two wallets taken in 6 months
)
5) Evey person behind a counter down there is a forigner that can barely speek english
6) Traffic is at a stand still for most of the day
7) Tramps at every station and begging foriners on every train
I think you get the idea.

Love the place.
Sooooooo different from Scotland. Most people keep themselves to themselves and it all stays cool(most of the time)

So London to me is nice. My type of speed...fast! But toooooo over crowded! Alot of tourist and shit. (I have been there a few )And $$$alot of cha ching.

I went there this week funilly enough, with my dads business trip (free very posh hotel, free food, expenses paid etc)..... Its not the sort of place I could ever live, but its a nice change to go somewhere which is always bustling with people. The people were very friendly (because alone whilst my dad was in a meeting on weds, the underground proved taxing for my poor little brain, plus i was too busy pullin my skirt down and the like, as those darn u'ground seats ride it over ur hips)...
I liked it though, kensington high street had some gorgeous shops.....oxford streets far too overrated, as...in my opinion, is some of the other attractions in the city.....but doesn't was everywhere have its bad points?
