I used to use Motorcraft PP 8 sparkplugs in my Esc. cos which were standard fit.
Some people on here don't like to use them but I can def. say they never gave me a problem.
By the way if you need a set I've got two sets up for grabs £ 18 set inc. postage.

Cheers.

Do not use PP8S with 28psi
you can use C57s £25ish a set

These aren't NGKs . And at that price, if they only last 1/3 the life of the NGKs, you're still saving £10 .

mike i have heard people using 9's for 25k miles, and the 071's are decent plugs but doubt they will last 8k

BTW Jayb has been running 57c's for 6k now

PP8s/c59s are quality plugs if you want the electrode to come off at high boost/revs n fuck your engine

Steve,
I have a mate who ran the 9s in his Stage 1 Escort for well over that mileage!

But I bet he would have got 8k no probs out of the AGP071s - it all depends on how hard you're using the plugs. I know they last longer than C57s though, so maybe Jay would have got 8k out of them .

Mike,

How much can you supply AGPS071C's for?

Am I right to assume that the "C" is a colder rated plug than the "S" suffex type?

BTW the AGPS071C plugs are the ones that The Harvester supplied when my engine was converted to 500 spec

OK Mike, please supply me with 4 x AGPS071C plugs.

The only annoying "fault" with these plugs is the screw on top cap...I find that no matter how tight you put them on - they work loose with time, and "can" cause a misfire.....that goes away as soon as they are re-tightened But I suppose at the price one should'nt complain
