Hiya, I have an enlarged sump, but need the gated baffle for the sump. I already have a windage tray. How much and where can I get them?

i wont open my e-bay auction for this to you not to be difficult , just the aggro ive had from some europeans makes it a waste of time , if you wish to discuss this further pm me , i see you baulking at the new mountune price tho which i think is quite reasonable for the work involved in these

 

The mountune is only a 4x4 one and is a brake surge tray, I have had proper baffles done before and they aint Ł175.

Vic, RichPon (or is it RichardPon ) on here is breaking his Sapph which had a baffled sump.
I don't know if he still has it, might be worth a quick PM to him.

Mountune only make them for 4wd models (im after 2wd) and unfortunately Marco's guy cant do it without me sending the sump from australia!

have PM'd a couple of people.. hopefully get it sorted soon!

 

You could always speak to Glenn Hardy at GGR, they do brand new 2wd sumps for a good price . You could then get them to send this to Marco's man for modification?

 

I think I may do that as a LAST resort, cause I have a beautifully made ultra rare cast sump and want to use that.

Im amazed with the number of high hp cosworths with big winged sumps, that they arn't more freely available!

What does Harvey use ?

 

The Mountune one if you want a proper gated sump, but he is also experiencing the same sourcing issues and can't do this for a 2wd sump any more either .
