ive been training for about 6 months now 3 times aweek for about 1.5 hours each session its going very well but i think my diet is slowing me up, im about 15 1/2 stone and about 6ft tall, im trying to loose my excess fat but in the meantime want to gain muscle, but it seems to have come to a halt, i take a protein shake a day plus creatine plus im also trying taking sida cordifolia daily to see if that can help, i run out of time in the evenings to try to make a correct sort of meal so im just after some sort of help please, ive read the other posts but i didnt know if anyone else can help, many thanks dan.

Hi Dan,
Your best place to start mate is to have a read of my post in "what foods", this has all the keys to diet and a guide to working out your calories and then if you have any queries we can go from there.

I'm currently trying to loose fat while trying to maintain muscle.
I do 20 minutes cardio after each weight session and another 2-3 cardio's per week (40 minutes) on an empty stomach. This helps burn the fat.
I also use a lot of protein, dropping your carbs a wee bit and increasing protein is useful.

I also found cycling my carbs really helps
Day 1 - Normal carbs
Day 2&3 - 25% carbs
Repeat
If at anytime you feel really drained of energy then get some complex carbs in you.
