Least fattening alcoholic drink?

As above, I've recently started doing a lot of resistance and bodyweight training, I'd like to drop the body fat a bit and as I'm at the pub a couple of times a week drinking real ale, that was the obvious candidate to knock on the head first.
Apparently I still need to socialise  so my question is, what's the least fattening alcoholic drink to have?

Also, any of you had any experience with suspension trainers? I treated myself to a Human Trainer kit, and it's awesome, however other than reverse flies, I'm struggling to think of any shoulder exercises?!

Why not kill two birds with one stone, and stop drinking all together? Focus on your fitness and detox at the same time. Just cos you're in a pub, doesn't mean you HAVE to drink alcoholic drinks

It has certainly crossed my mind, I've already been this week and just had a soft drink, it may just be placebo but I do feel generally better already.
It's just that I lack any confidence without a bit of brave juice

Needing alcohol is a crutch. You should really work that out. I rarely drink alcohol when I'm in the pub as I'm nearly always driving. Don't get me wrong, I love a nice cold beer, and the reason I don't drink the alcohol free (or nearly free) beers is they just don't taste the same. However, if I could find a readily available 0% alcohol beer that actually tasted like a real beer, I'd probably never drink an alcohol beer again. I've got nothing against alcohol, but I just don't need it; I never drink to get drunk, and I don't even really like being drunk (I'm way too much of a control freak for that  ), not to mention the whole driving thing.

56 calories in the vodka.

203 calories in a pint of Doom Bar.

What I would like to know is, if most alcoholic drinks are loaded with calories, why are most alcoholics under weight?
