Default how to shift 6kgs? other than eating less?

i've put on 6 kgs, mainly in fat gut, while i was in india and now i want to shift it

i know this because i've seen myself in the mirror

i weighed myself before i went and i was 74 kgs post dump, and when i returned i was 80kgs, post dump (we have fancy digital scales at work and they are correct and i was without shoes and wearing just jeans and a tshirt both times) so that's +6kgs in 3 weeks

will it just come off again as i return to normal habits or will it plague me for the rest of my life?

thing is, no matter what i've done over the past 20 years, i've never been able to put on even 2 kgs above my max of 76 kg weight, and no matter what i've not done, i've never been below 72kgs either, so this is fairly alarming for me in such a short time

i do some gentle exercising for around 30 minutes every evening so this is mainly about diet and stuff but none of this "eat proteins and carbs" or whatever, i'm looking for a sensible "eat a potato and a cabbage" type of answers as i've still got a week before the wife and kids get home and i need to go shopping

thanks

6 meals a day consisting of

Oat meal and a good quality protein shake I'm the morning
And then chicken and rice or white fish and rice through out the day every 3 hours

You can have sweet potato instead of rice

Have some greens in the meals also as it aids digestion

Calculate your carb in take to 100g per day no more

You will feel hungry all the time but the body will have what it needs

Drink plenty of water

Do not eat any

Bread
Crisps
Chocolate
Sweets

Stick to that and it will fall off
Also go for a few fast pace walks everyday
