Default How to get motervated?

Im not after being massive muscle wise just want to be toned for the summer and for my holiday!
Am lucky in this sense as am toned anyway and never put on weight really.

Have weight bench, good selection of weights and bars and sit up bench but never really seem to use them!

I have to pack it all away when not using them whoch dosnt help as if they were out all the time would use them more i think!

Anyone have any tips on how to motervate yourself?

What he said. I have practically a full gym worth of equipment between the loft and the garage, and I never look at them. But I go past it to go to the gym 4 times a week

Just to elablorate, joining the gym has purpose. You will go as you have paid for it. You visit it for a reason so not so easy to fob it off when you arrive. Step into the gym and there is all the equipment you could ever need. Plus you will see people training hard and pushing yourself and it will motivate you.

If you want to change then the gym is your church. Get in there and work out.

Theres alot of truth in that, i train at home, but on the few occasions my younger brother comes round i find myself pushing that extra little bit harder.

But my main motivation comes from my daughter, and not wanting to be one of those fat dads that she is embarassed about, and the fact that im in my 30's and in better shape than most teens..

not entirely true.. i had a gym membership a couple of years ago.. and only went a couple times a month, nothing to motivate you at the gym.
