Default Lower thigh / kneecap issue

Recently suffered from what i can only discribe as a strain or something slightly damaged.

A few days ago i knelt down on one knee (right) and the area around the kneecap and what ever is just slightly above that tightened - so stood up and shock it off then knelt again and something stretched as the pain is instant and excruciating (to me anyway .)

This is still happening but only on the odd occasion - i would say it's happened about 12 times since Thursday twice today - i will make an appointment for Monday but just seeing if anyone has suffered from something similar

i get this occasionaly when my knee locks up and i can't straighten it when it's bent of bend it when it's straight

mine has affected both knees but has always been on the inside of the knee going upwards on that muscle, but i've had a few ops on my knees so it might be something totally different to what you've experienced

i have found that by relaxing my leg i can wobble my kneecap about side to side and this tends to fix the problem after about 15 or 20 minutes
