I dont think there is one exercise to do what you want,I think you will have to do a superset of different exercises to fatigue your muscles

If you are going for visible abs body fat % is the most important factor.

Also deadlifts and Squats - if you dont feel the burn the lift heavier

I agree with compound movements to hit them. Deads especially for me, squats not so much. Straight arm lat pulldowns hit them quite badly too if your doing enough weight.

Do you add weight to your abs workout? Might be worth stating what you actually do.

They might pull on them, but they won't excercise 'em. Stick to good old fashioned sit ups.

hi mate i dont diet or anything as im trying to build size and i only ever do 3 abb workouts throught the whole week. I always do them inbetween sets of the muscle group on doing on each day. The best one BY far is raise the decline bench as high as it will go and i do 4 sets of 25 or whatever u can do. Btw i put a 5kg barbell behind my head as i do it. 2nd on day two is on a flat bench, get your arse right on the end keep back flat and legs together toes pointed. Raise your legs straight up. Do 4 sets of 25 again or if your advanced u can do one straight up then down, then legs left then back to middle then up then down then right, then back to midde etc etc. On day 3 i use a machine i dont know what it is by u twist your bodys left and right. Again 4 sets of 20. U dont need to do anymore than that and after 2 weeks you'l see the difference

Me and my training partner do supersets of bog standard crunches followed by lying leg raises, the partner stands over the other and throws the lifters legs back towards the ground during the leg raises, do 4 to 5 sets of 20 of each per set of these and I feel it the next morning.

Get on the decline bench and do sit ups on that, going all the way back.
Twist at the top to work your obliques and leg raises are good too.
