How much can i lose in three weeks ?
Hi
I got exactly 21 days before I go back to university.
Im 20.5 stone now. Theres 14 lb of bodyfat in 1 stone.
How much can i lose in three weeks ? Im doing the slimming world diet, but sticking to red days most of the week as its low carb high protien.
Im not interested in weight work, as i do that normally and im pretty sure theres alot of muscle under the flab.
Ideally i want to get down to 17 stone, but i dont think 3 stone is possible in 3 weeks, although i am told it is ?
I have at my disposal
1 mountain bike
around 20 miles of lanes
1 concept2 D PM3 rower (my own on lease from gym in the garage under my room)
Im unfit and ive only given up smoking three weeks ago.
My waist size is 44 and got to the point where i cant find trousers that fit.
but i dont look huge here is a pic of me
and this is me a year ago at around 19.5 stone
I dont have any others nor do i have a mirror anymore, only the bathroom one and my dslr is too large to get a decent shot.
It will take me 2 days to shift my sleeping pattern round to 9pm-7am as its currently 4am-4pm
My current plan is this
Diet :
eat porridge in morning, sweetner instead of sugar.
drink lots of sugar free squash
eat 8 meals a day of chicken breast, eggs, not sure what else ?
excersise:
row 20 mins warmup when i wake up before breakfast
3 mins tabata (20 seconds 100%, then 10 second rest/10% - for 3 minutes)
go for a quick ish walk when its sunny around the lanes about 2-3 miles at lunch time
row 45-60mins at 75% evening
for 21 days...

You could go on a no carb diet? Live on chicken and water I guess. God knows what it will do healthwise, but the weight would fall off I reckon. 6 - 8 pieces of chicken breast a day spread out.

You could do if you really really wanted to maybe 20lbs.......this would mean ultra strict diet, cardio and some ephedrine or clen's.

Ive lost 6lb since that post so far, but i keep cheating on my diet simply because everything takes so much effort to make and my sleeping pattern is fucked. Got up at 4am today...what can i make that wont wake the parents up...pasta (which is on the diet). But what sauce ? all there was is bolegnase, thats not on the diet. fuck. :@

You can cook your meals and set them out into tuppberwear sets. There's no excuses mate. I have to take two, sometimes three meals and a shake to college. That more or less consists of cold chicken breast, tuna fish, and then either rice or new potatoe with it. All cold and absolutely disgusting. Everyone looks forward to their break times, except me, lol!!
Tuna fish and a potatoe? You can microwave a poatoe and tuna is ready made to throw in out the tin. All in all about ten minutes to sit back and watch it make itself. I prefer new potatoe as it's not as dry, so you don't need the butter.

I did 1.5 stone in 6 weeks and that was hard work.
Obviously you are fatter in the first place than I was but even still doubling the loss in half the time, ie 4 times the rate of loss, I think even if you didnt eat at all for the 3 weeks you wouldnt manage that.
1 stone would be very doable, 2 would be monstrously hard.

but with such a big amount of poundage, you will expect to see some fluctuation in his weight over any given time, and that won't be down to him being on a diet of excersising or the like
the basics of exerting more energy than you consume is the way forward, so that you will start to use up the stored fat and stuff
and as i've eaten nothing but chicken related dishes over the past week, it's a very "make or break" dash to get to the bog in time to evacuate, and today i was crippled over in agony trying to hold it all in while desperatly trying to climb the stairs

I know that feeling mate. Not two weeks ago I was casusally walking into college when I got a stomache cramp and before I knew it I was throwing people down the stairs to get past them.

lost a stone on casual dieting since the OP. meh

Im 6ft 2" and was weighing in at 19st before I decided I was sick of being a porker and started doing something about it.
I dropped 2 stone in 10 weeks from good diet and started back on the weights daily and kickboxing twice a week from the 6th week of dieting. I have recently been ill and lost motivation a bit so have been missing the gym for a couple of weeks but have still been kickboxing, the diet has stayed pretty good and I have lost a further few pounds in those weeks. After the initial drop in weight its stabilised now at 17st give or take a pound here and there. I plan to keep going at it, lose a bit more weight, maybe get down to 16st or thereabouts then concentrate on getting bigger again.
3 stone in 3 month isnt going to happen or be good for you Id expect but for someone of your size, like me, a couple of stone is doable. Just keep good with the diet and get yourself in the gym/on your bike etc and the main thing is stick at it. Its easy to get bored of the diet, dont be afraid to cheat now and again its not going to put a stone on you if you have a cake etc just dont go daft and dont do it all the time.
