4g Protein and 14g Carbs per 100g. Not the best. Alot of salt too.

Good carbs are things like brown rice, cous cous, wholemeal pasta. Best place to get protein is chicken, red meat, turkey, eggs etc...

Benni what are you trying to gain from going to the gym? Weight loss or mass building? It seems to me you are trying to do both which is near on immpossible.

It can't be impossible as I've already lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of strength.

You seem to always know better. The best advice is to stop trying to gain muscle and lose all that fat first then work from there.

How do I seem to know best? If I knew best I wouldn't have made this thread asking advice. I've done lots of research and ready endless websites and from what I gathered I decided to do it together. From what I know, weight training as a beginner it's fine.

Not to mention I have lost weight and gained muscle, so I know it's working. That's not me knowing best, it's the truth.

Both can be done together but nowhere near as effectively imho.

If your already out of shape any sort of diet and exercise improvement is going to make a difference. That difference won't however extend to reaching an ambitious goal. i.e. if you really want to loose weight you need to concentrate on that 100% and vice versa. Your body will soon become accustomed to the recent change in routine and the improvement in either weight loss or strength will fade imho. Doing both together is not impossible but very very hard to do effectively.

Benni, Ollie said "near on" impossible, not impossible.
