Default Gym routine advise?

Ive started a new routine as i had been going to the gym 2/3 times a week and doing pretty much a full body work out ea time..
Now ive moved over to doing 5 nights a week and a diffrent section of my body each nite.. The question is doing it this way round say i did chest & tricepts on monday i wouldnt be doing them again till next monday (norm have the w.end off) does this not seem to much of a gap for ea muscle group or is it ok? Just wondering how others work there rotation? Im trying to gain as much size as possible with in reason lol........

Default

,im 17 and 6ft and 15st,
do all the big muscle groups once aweek n small ones twice aweek, and stay with 3-4 exercises per muscle group and 8-10 reps per exersize, this is wat i do..

monday: triceps - shoulders

tuesday: back

wednesday: biceps - forarms

thursday: chest

friday: triceps - biceps - forarms

saturday: legs

and just eat 7-9 meals a day with over 300g of protein and 600g of carbs a day and you will soon start building muscle.
