Advice needed for bulking
What sort of natural foods are best for bulking, I eat a lot of chicken, and do eat bacon and sausages a lot aswell, I like my veg bar sprouts.
My problem is I have the type of metabolism that lets me eat whatever I want and I dont gain any weight or size, but I'd like to bulk up a bit if possible, any ideas?

beef, turkey, chicken, fish, rice, pasta, cottage cheese, peanut butter, eggs, oats etc.
It's not what you eat as such, it's how much!
Eat well every 2 hours mate and you WILL bulk, I spend 30 mins every morning cooking eggs, rice, chicken etc for my work packup

As above, you canliterally eat anything you like when bulking, just make sure you eat a lot. If your metabolism is like that, probably 4000 calories upwards per day. Broken down into 6-8 meals

Benni, i think the key is to eat big but clean. when bulking you are bound to put on fat its just a question of how much.
alot of people bulk through the winter and cut in the summer.

3 days 45mins cardio work, 3 days 45mins weights.
I could go into more detail if you wanted a specific plan, and diet to stick to.

Cut the carbs bud
Eat heaps of chicken, turkey, tuna, salmon, eggs, peanut butter, bacon etc. Stay well clear of bread, rice, pasta..... watch the weight fall off! You will feel like crap for about 3 days (wont go into the chemistry, unless needbe) then you will feel ok. Your body will be tapping into its own fats as fuel, thus the dramatic cut. Always found it funny how people go on about getting ABS.....easy.....diet!! ABS are always there, yeah you can make them a bit bigger but they are hidding under fats, strip the fats and ABS will show, simples

You can't have Bacon without the toast, Paul. It's the law. I think there are carbs in my protein shake? Shall I still have that.
Feel free to make me a diet plan also, Vroom, I am always open to advice and help. Maybe PM to save ruining Dan's thread?

What he says is true for your average person tho, and I'm sure your well aware of that. Every day I eat things that i dont hugely like etc, because I know I have to.
Not everyone can do that lol.
I'll put together a couple of diests later and post them in there own thread. Be something worthwhile and Paul could possibly add in, or anyone really. Be helpful for a lot of people.

A quick copy paste of a good bulking diet
Meal One:
300ml of egg whites 25g protein
30g whey shake 25g (at least)
100g oatmeal 80g carbs
2 slices of granary toast 35g carbs
Some cheese in and vegetables to make an omelette with the egg, raisins, and honey to taste in the oats (made in water) with a splash of skimmed milk to taste, and low fat spread on the toast
Add beverage of choice and that's around 600 calories for Breakfast
Meal Two:
200g cooked chicken approx 45g protein
130g brown rice approx 100g carbs
Some vegetables mixed in, splash of something to help it down the hatch
Add a piece of fruit
And that's in the region of 650 calories depending on what you add.
Meal Three:
300g tinned tuna 40g protein
150g wholemeal pasta 100g carbs
Add a bowl of salad and some extra light mayo mixed in with the tuna and pasta with a nice dressing on the salad
And you have another 600+ calories
Meal four:
Same as Meal Two or Meal 3
Post Workout Shake
50g whey protein
50g dextrose
In water, down the hatch
Meal Five less than an hour later:
200g steak 45g protein
250g sweet potato 100g carbohydrates (make nice baked fries or wedges with these especially if you melt mozzarella on them before you serve)
Add in heaps of veg and your condiment or sauce another 600 calories
Final meal of the day:
250g salmon 40g protein
100g cottage cheese 10g protein
4 slices of granary bread 70g carbs
Another 600 calories or so in that meal
The totals are
Calories at least 4000
Protein 315
Carbs 640
