wheight loss problems ?
I keep dieting properly, doing cardio and wheights, and getting to 19 stone, and then i cant lose any more wheight. I just stop, even though im excersising hard than ever, and pushing more wheight !?
So i stop dieting and end up like now putting all my fat back on again and now im back to 22 stone (was 22 stone 9lb a few weeks ago, but have managed to keep the 9lb off).
I dont understand why it can go perfectly upto a certain wheight and then just stop.... but every time it happens i feel so depressed etc that i just let it pile back on!
I dont see that its a lack of motivation as im still dieting and excersising so surely i should still be dropping wheight ?
Im 6ft 8, 22 stone and my bodyfat ratio thingy is 36%, ideally id like it to be around 15%, when i drop down to 19 stone however it only goes down a little bit!!!

Possibly, because you putting on muscle, which weighs a lot more per volume than fat. So you are putting on the right kind of weight!
Go back on that diet and get back to the gym!

Well basically you aint excersising enough!
Aim for 45mins cardio, 5 days a week minimum. More if you have the time for it. If you enjoy lifting weights too, do 2 leg sessions to every upper body session - leg work burns more calories than arms/shoulders etc.
Eat 5/6 small meals a day, essentially eating every 2hours or so.
It aint easy losing weight - ive done 1.5st in the last 6 weeks, its slowing dramatically now unfortunately, just need to keep at it, working yourself harder.

walkings all well and good if youve gone from doing absolutly nothing, but you need to be doing more and more if you want to continue to lose weight. you need to be sweating, panting and need to be feeling fucked by the time you finish. this may start off slow if your fitness is very low, but believe me within a month itll have gone through the roof.
start calorie counting. aim for 1500-1800 a day, with a little fat as possible. dont just eat 1500cals worth of pie and chips. ideally, do a big workout (500calories or so) before breakfast, then come home, have porridge, scrambled egg on toast, big bowl of shreddies or 6 weetabix, something along those lines. for dinner something high in carbs again, pasta, rice, baked potato, 2 sandwiches on brown. then dinner something low in carbs, salad, veg and meat. try and take on as puch protein as possible without going daft, so have tuna on your baked pototato or with your salad etc. and if you get hungry between meals dont just starve yourself, eat somethung but try and hold out til your proper meal to fill yourself up properly. fruit, tin of tuna, couple of boiled eggs, are all fairly good snacks.
this is what i did and i went from around 19 stone to just under 16 at one point. (tbh i looked skinny as fuck being so tall) its not easy though, you have to be strict with yourself mate. make a mental list of everything you can eat and everything you cant eat, and everytime you are out or go shopping or whatever and are tempted by something, just think if you have it, thats an extra XXX calories you wouldve lost, and you wont really appreciate it an hour after youve eaten it anyway.
its not easy, you need to be dedicated, if you get pissed off because after eating the odd salad and walking to the shop for a mars bar instead of driving the weight isnt falling off you, you wont get anywhere.

an extra three miles doing what?
you can feel sick when youre really pushing yourself yeah, i have a few times, and my brother would often say he was sick when training for various sports he used to do. dont know what it means as far as whats going on in your body, but dont worry youre not gonna die

I stopped eating crap & cut my food intake down on 4th January & started doing some exercise in my garage for 30 mins every other night ( reps on bike, weights, sit ups, press ups. The nights i don't exercise i go out about 9.00pm for a run just under 3 miles each time. I am 5ft 11' & was 14st4lbs now 13st7lbs after nearly 3 weeks but i am still having the odd biscuit & went out for a meal last weekend burger & chips ! But generally cut right back. Breakfast porridge,x2 toast, coffee 1 sugar. 2 pieces of fruit in the morning & water, lunch x1 sandwich & apple, water. Normally have another coffee with 1 sugar when i get home, tea around 6.30pm which is normally steamed veg & chicken or sometimes pasta/salad. If i get hungry in the evening have plenty of water & more fruit. I am pissing all the time now though with less food & more water !
When i think what i was stuffing i can't believe it ! half a pack of biscuits a day sometimes, choclate bar, pasties, sausage rolls, fizzy drinks, sweets & not a lot of exercise, i am a BT engineer so climb poles most days &doa fair bit of walking. Going to aim for about 12st10lbs !
Simon.

tbh, you can lose weight without exercising quite easily following Slimming World, and people who exercise more tend to lose it faster. Unless your doing excessive amounts of exercise and not eating enough to compensate.
Your body will retain fluid in your muscles for the first week or 2 if you start exercising excessively compared to what you previously did, but that would only be if you were doing a lot, and you should still be losing fat if retaining water anyway.
Main reason for peoples weightloss slowing down/stopping is because theyre not as precise or strict as they are when they first start a new plan.
Try writing down what you are eating, every single thing, and see where you can improve. Is there anything thats a danger time to you where you will eat stuff that you probably shouldnt be, yet forget about it?

What time do you get up? Try having a later breakfast and dinner and tea to compensate for your late night problem times. Eating after a certain time is rubbish, as long as your not having a 3 course meal 10mins before bed it wont cause any major problems.
What sort of things are you eating late at night though? Fruit and yoghurt or maybe scrambled eggs etc would be ok, nothing too heavy or hard to digest.
