loosing the belly
im not a big lad probably only about 5'8 and im not fat really either nor muscley and im quite happy with the way i look but ive got a belly that i really want to get rid of, i dont know what to do to get rid of it, i would say i eat crap all the time my food usually consists of:
yoghurt for breakfast 7:30,
banna about 10ish,
lunch is usually ham/chicken/tuna sandwhich, bag of crisps, another banana and a can of diet coke,
then afternoon is another bannana
then tea about 7:30/8ish is usually sumthing pasta based or a pizza
and a weekend usually have a propa roast dinner
bottle of water a day when im at work, then usually 2 or 3 beers at night but not all the time
i also walk for about 1hr 20mins a day and instead of using the lifts i walk up the stairs 8times a day to the 4th floor,
what can i do to get rid of it as its making me look fat when im not

what godzilla said, and go for a 20 minute run 5 times a week with 2 rest days, try some abdominal excercises too
when you feel your stomach twitching and pinching when your relaxing that means your stomach muscles is eating your belly fat

only way to lose fat is by nutritional eating and cardio, pumpin the abs will not shed any weight at all,and the muscles doesnt eat your belly fat,by training the abs your makin them bigger, your bodyfat will stay the same

the simple fact is this. crunches sit ups etc will not burn fat at a sufficient rate to get rid of a beer belly. the simplist way is by doing very high intensity cardio sessions coupled with intense weight training and a balanced heaqlthy diet. cut out chocolate, crisps, sandwiches from the shop, junkfood, fizzy drinks etc. eat plenty of lean protein throughout the day. tuna, chicken, mixed beans etc all have high amounts of protein in them. a chicken breast for example contains around 25 grams of protein. you'll need about a gram and a half of protein per pound of body weight. you also need to avoid anything fried such as fried bread with breakfast or chips with lunch. plenty of fresh fruit is also quite important.
if you think about what you eat and how much of it you eat and train hard the flab will fall off. don't expect miracles though as body fat takes time to get rid of. hope this helps.

Tom

If your unsure what foods to eat, have a look at this.

Losing the stomach is easy to do so long as you stick to it, But it's also very easy to get it back
I've given up trying to tone it, I like my food to much! So I just train it to keep it how it is, If I lose it its a bonus, but thats not what I train for anyhow
