whats best ready to drink protein shakes or powder gear
i'm beggining to actually enjoy working out
been to a few gyms in the past and it kind of felt like a chore to go,
but this time around ive began to really enjoy it, aim is to get some definition and lose about a 1.5 stone , 5'10 and i'm just under 13st.
get to the gym 2 / 3 times a week, have noticed a few folks at the gym taking supplements during and some just take after the workout.
best to take after the workout ?
whats the best shakes to buy? RTD or Powder
are they full of caleries? dont really want to take anything if i'm risking putting anymore weight on.
thanks for reading

£33 for 2.3kg
http://search.ebay.co.uk/reflex-inst...shapersfitness
per 25g serving
ENERGY
calories 93
k joules 395
Protein 19.5g
carbs 0.9g
fat 1.3g
sodium 55mg
potassium 243mg
digezyme 40mg
lactospore 50 million spores
RTD's normally work out alot more expensive!!

yeah thats right, whey after the workout, carbs (for energy) before.
the average person weighing 12.5-13 stone should consume 30g's (approx) of protein every 3 hours in order to gain muscle.
this doesnt just mean whey protein, use that just after your workout as a suppliment to an existing diet, the rest should come from the likes of chicken/steak/tuna etc

Asda now sell cheap Whey powder, about £17 for a kilo tub. They also sell a more expensive brand (like 2x the price), but it's nice to see this stuff in a supermarket.
