I'm not as strong as I used to be but I currently use around 50kg on an EZ bar without swinging and cheating

If using dumbbells it would be 20-25kg depending on how I feel.

well i used to be into it, but only just started, 8kg is way too light for me, thinking of maybe 15-20?

I rep up to 16kg and can just about manage 8 "clean" reps to failure on a good day.

14kg, finishing on failure at ten reps ate the moment. After some reading I might drop from 20,15,10 to something like 10, 8, 6 and a higher weight?

20 or 22kg, 3 set of ten each arm. Then the same on hammers or cable curls with 30kg 4 sets to failure.

Depends on exercise, 50kgs on an EZ bar with good form. 25Kg dumbells on seated or 30Kg standing curls. Like Paul though I have lost alot of strength.

Its all about what you feel comfortable with though. Dont go by what others lift. Whatever you can squeeze 8-10 reps out on with a struggle/spot.

an EZ bar is a barbell that has bent parts in the middle so you can isolate your triceps and biceps when you do pushups

Managed 18kg 3 sets of 10 to failure point

Always manahed to get a good pump on my arms by doing higher reps on 12-14kg, felt awesome

in my experience by lowering the weight you can concentrate on form and get a better "pump". Possibly more for definition too. Heavier weight for bulk though if you can lift it without swinging.

Exactly what I was poitning out, works nicely eh

The good old swinging motion is a sure sign your lifting too much, if that aint a sign then putting your back out will be the next best thing, by then I think you will definately know lol

Ditto, erases the urge to swing the fuckers lol

That way, you only lift what your capable of, instead of whaling a load up and hurting your back...
