whens the best time to do biceps ?
i always do my biceps individually seperatly to my work out, because i do wheights so much with dumbells that i cant move my arms afterwards.
so i do mine just before i go to bed.
is this an ok time for muscle to regenerate ? i do them every other day but sometimes everyday depending how i feel.
thanks

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
You shoul dnot be doing them everyday!!! You need to allow time to recover before sleeping.
By doing your bis every day, and just before going to bed you are getting less gains than doing them twice a week!!

I do mine once a week and I make sure that I do every rep slowly with perfect form and my arms are coming along nicely. Dont get caught up in trying to lift too heavey a weight, start out with a weight you can perform the exercise with and work up. Hope this helps

yeh the dumbells im using atm arent heavy i just cant currently afford any heavier ones so i do many reps of smaller ones. problem with that is it gives you tone and definition but not the raw strenght, i want both...

Biceps are a very small muscle. You should only train them once or twice a week MAX!
I train my biceps on my back day as pulldowns etc all work them too.
You are doing far too much and not getting the proper gains from your training.

Remember....Bi, meaning two, Tri meaning three.
Bi's are important though as a good peak to the arm really gives it tight look.
Ive always concentrated on a decent peak as shown........

Many years of hard training mate. As regarding huge, thank you! Most of my mates are bigger and look better.
In all honesty i was on 500mg of Sust a week, 40mg of Dianabol a day and 150mg of Winstrol a week.
My diet was 300g's+ protien per day with no more than 100g's of carbs.
I cant understand people who lie when they are taking gear, if you want to cheat then so be it.....why lie?
ps: how do i get my chest/shoulders/traps like that,,,, fucking huge !!!
PM me mate and i can help you with diet and training.

thanks for the advice, ive cut down to once / twice a week and its shown some major improvements.
one problem though is when i do them with dumbells i find the muscle just before the elbow swells up as it should when doing them, but to the point where it stops me contracting, is this normal ?
I need to buy some heavier ones next week which is always a good sign
am now combining them with bench presses for my chest and arms as i have more time!

If your needing to buy some heavier weights means man! Keep a little journal of how much you can lift now then every time you up the weight.
As for the muscle swelling just before the elbow.....hmmmm, could be a few things. Firstly try these.....If you press it when its swollen is it sqeazy, kinda like it has water in or is it hard? Also do you have any pain in the area, if so what kind of pain, a sharp feeling or a numb feeling and how long does the pain last?

Sounds like a bit of a build up of fluid mate. This is not uncommon but to be watched, dont let it put you off BB though as you will encounter all kinds of strains and pains on the way
Get yourself an elbow support from your chemist for a few quid mate, should help a bit.
