alcohol has some serious calories in it. i have once lost about 12lbs in a week if i lay off the beers when i was drinking 4 times a week.

Same as mate, only bad thing in my diet! Seriously not good for you if your deep into your training! One mad night out for me puts me out of gym action for nearly 3 days!!!! Trying to keep my 'over the top binge nights' too a real minimum!

i'm told apparently apart from the calories, alcohol also slows down muscle development.
I was also told that a pint of stella is roughly equivalent to a mars bar so you can see why it makes you fat! :eek:
