Make sure you get a 100% protein shake and not a heavy weight gain shake as they have lots of carbs!
I take protein shakes as meal replacements and find that I dont get hungry if drinking one of them.
From my understanding any protein that your body does not intake you pass out and it is not stored as energy (fat) so they can be a helpful aid.
