Default STARTING GYM JAN ADVISE PLEASE............

Hi guys the time is drawing near when ill be joining the gym (jan)........
im 30 yrs old and 6'4" and at the moment weigh about 12 stone im fairly lanky and im looking at getting to about 13 stone and toning up etc....thing is i work away in london live in swindon at the mo and will be going to the gym sat am mon am and wed am will this be enough to get to my goal????.........ive got a really fast metabolism at the moment probably eating about 2500/3000calories every day upto last month without putting on any weight now more like 3500-4000 calories.....im eating pasta,fruit,chicken etc now are these the best foods to eat to gain weight etc.....will get a protein/eight gain drink/s aswell.......before i was eating crap chocalote,chrisps,biscuits etc....... ......help please guys...cheers .....also have weights at home and a excercise bike available

3 times a week should be more then enough to reach your goal as long as you stick to it and make the time count. personally i wouldn't bother with any of the suppliments but thats your choice if you do.

just set out a basic routine you know you'll stick to even on the days when your not in the mood and will look for excuses to not do it. remember it wont happen over night but give it time and your efferts will pay off.

as long as you keep a good all round diet you should be fine its only if your going for mr olympia you have to worry about stacking up the calories lol

most important remember to enjoy it, working out is a lifestyle not "something you do"
