six second abs

well i guess most people have seen these advertised on t.v its basicly a crunch machine to work the whole ab section now theres alot said on other fourms about these however all the negative comments come from ppl who have never used one, it works the same as an ab press you would use in the gym and i think with the rest of my weekly work out one of these things will work,so today i will order one from ebay :top: will post pics of progress so every one can see my 6 second abs

Waste of time and money IMO. The best thing for abs is to get regular cardio exercise so that they show, then just a few of the normal methods will bring them out. Leg raises, standard crunches etc.

We've no doubt all bought something from the magazines or tv sales techniques they use, i bought one of those plastic and rubber excercises years back, before long it was sat aroung gathering dust. EMS units are the only ones worthwhile that actually do good but stuff sitting arround jerking about for 30 mins just to get 1000 sit ups or whatever.

You don't actually need to do that many stomach excercise if you have a flat stomach. Why work on the floorboards with the carpet still in place? Running etc is what does gets the abs out not millions of sit ups but then these tv people affect people. :)

Whats your aims?

Abs start in the kitchen!

juss 1 06-10-2006 06:08 PM

if it worked every one would have six packs like stated above we all have abs and could all have a pack its all down to body fat levels there is not a machine in this world that will give you abs by performing a crunch motion its burning fat that you need, try cardio and cutting down on carbs.

and a simple rope crunch/leg raise will build the abs up :top:

ben_frst 06-10-2006 08:06 PM

lol so many ppl say abs start in the kitchen or do more cardio but i want mean abs not just a 6 pac why do you think gyms have ab presses? you still need to work the muscle too but i decided the 6 sec abs is not for me and theres not enough resistance, ab presses and leg raises are for me so the 6 second ab machine is doom to stay in a dark and dusty cubord lol

the resistance band break easily too P.O.S
