Really needs fault codes checking and go from there.

Does the engine light ever come on too?

Does the ! light come on in the centre display where fuel/temp gauges are?

Any other messages?

What's your oil level, if it's over the max it could be excess fuel in your oil, on your dpf regen un-burnt fuel can be dumped into the engine oil and put the level over full...
Don't have any dealings with Fiesta tdci's sorry...

Good point, deffo check that, have seen cars come in with oil 2" up the stick and codes for oil dilution.

As previous post it really needs the codes checking on Ford IDS (or something that can read all proper Ford specific codes)

The only problems we get on these that puts that light on are the glow plug relay and the cam sensor. I would try the glow plug relay first. Its in the small relay box fastened to the back of the battery clamp.

Alright guys

I've checked the oil level and it's sound just a bit under max

It came on again this morning

I'll check the relay box back if the battery clamp

Why is it when the comes on I lose power ??? Could it be air flow meter ??

Sorted found the problem it was 1 glow plug down that put it into limp home mode

There's no need to put a limp home mode on a fooking glow plug ford what the Fook

Yes, there is a need. The glow plugs are needed whem regenerating the particle filter.
Or would you rather replace a clogged DPF?
