Zetec s turbo conversion?
 

Been offered some fez rst parts, can the standard engine be turbod? What dose it take to do the conversion or is it better to throw the rs turbo lump in?

fiesta rs turbo bits wont be any good as the turbo is on different sides of the engine to yours

you could thow in the whole rs turbo set up and use a mk5 escort cvh powere steering pump and covert your power steering system to work with it

but i would (if i was you)

get a 2.0 silvertop zetec and strip it down and use c20let pistons with the standard rods machined to fit with these and then fit arp rod bolts and focus rs gaskets and plugs and devil development valve springs, this will be good for 270bhp

then use a stage3 t3 and ofab management from a fiesta turbo and get a ofam ecu from boost monkeys and plug into the ofab set up.

What he said..I have the same spec engine except on a t34.48 and kms management and its running 20psi all day with no problems so I imagine the best part of 300bhp so good useable fun in a fiesta

chris if your gonna do it might as well for the relativley cheap cost just chuck a 2.0 zetec turbo in

Just a idea bouncing round as been offered some bits cheep, bit of boost well I build the cosworth up. But think its gona cost to much considering I'd have to pay labour. So keep the zs as mint as it is and screw it round oulton park as she sits..
Need to keep focust on the cosworth! Don't help I've still got that t34.63 on a shef starring at me lol
