CVH Xr2i Cam timing
 

Hi, does anyone know if Due to the reduced length between crank and cam pulleys when skimming the head how much it will affect timing? Is greater compression more beneficial than the advancing/retardation of cam timing.
Talking about a race car. Not allowed to use a vernier pulley
