Default FRST Starter Motor and Alternator

I posted this on Fiestaturbo a few weeks back and no response, anyone in here able to help?

Long time no post...

So as I slowly get my Ka RST up back in to 1 piece I'm at the point of laying out the 12V distribution before then attacking the rest of the harnessing.

I'd like to pop a new starter motor on the thing as the old unit I've got had one or two issues back when it was last in use and the solenoid terminals are loose. The unit I have is a Bosch puppy which looks to be the OE part. Units from Eurocarparts look to be about £120 exchange which isn't horrific but a little painful. Is this the starter to go for or are people using alternatives these days?

I'm also thinking about replacing the alternator. Currently I've got a Valeo unit, which I don't think is the OE. Bosch units from Euros are looking expensive since I wont have a Bosch unit to exchange. The original unit is only 65A (I think my VALEO is 70A) and I'd like a little more if possible but don't have any extra space over the current unit. Same questions as the starter...?

Thanks
James.
