you have different options, all depending on what wheels you have mounted.
first upgrade 260mm
rs2k, fiesta mk5 zetec-s, fiesta mk6 and up .
Mostly a direct fit, 14" wheels is required.
2nd stage: 278mm
You have several options here, all with their pro's and con's
Cos4x4 setup.. so both discs and calipers. 15" minimum required.. but needs attention
- Pro .. 60mm piston.. enough options for discs and pads.
- Con.. you have to space the caliper out some 5 to 6 mm, with much chance of hitting the wheel
Cos4x4 calipers, Mondeo Mk1/2 v6 278mm discs
- Pro .. 60mm piston enough options for pads
- Con.. the disc needs to be spaced 4mm to align with the non spaced caliper, leaving only a small amount of center hub left for centering the wheel. .. the 4mm spacer is fairly easy to achieve by machining down a standard wheel spacer to less then 130mm in diameter .. and fit behind the disc. Longer studs are advised
Fiesta ST150 setup (discs and calipers)
- Pro .. almost direct fit, larger piston then standard, no spacing at all, lots of choice on discs and pads
- Con ... you have to slightly modify your hub (or the caliper) to be certain that both mounting faces of hub and caliper are flat and large enough to fit. .. but this is a REAL SMALL modification and can be done by a 10 year old with an angle grinder..
stage 3: 300mm. Several options (minimum of 16" wheels)
Focus ST170 discs, and calipers
- Pro ... 300mm, lots of choice in pads (same as ST150) and discs
- Con .. you need to drill out the existing holes in the hub to 12mm
MK3 mondeo calipers (and possibly 2006 and on focus calipers) and ST170 discs
- Pro easier to get your hands on than st170 calipers, but are nearly the same
- Con probably need to drill out to 12mm too, and pads are NOT the same as st170/st150
Stage 4 ... focus RS (324mm ... so 17 or 18" wheels i guess)
How to get your hands on a set.. well i've managed to get a set of ST150 brakes (calipers, discs and pads, via ebay (uk) for less money then the actual shipment (to The Netherlands)
so ebay, or any forums..

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
Fab Guide, I fitted RS2k discs etc to the front and back of my Fiesta no issues except rear hoses, hose mounting and hand brake link fouling. Either trim the rear beam or make up spacers for the rear with longer hub bolts. Used two part cossie braided hoses on the rear and made up some brakets.
