Default Fiesta Turbo Conversion

I have a P Reg mk3 fiesta and want to do a turbo conversion on it, i know i will have to change brakes suspension etc, whats the wiring like to change? and anything elsed i need to know please

will it be easier to change the whole loom or splice into the old one?

Hey buddy, im not a mechanic but it all depends what model it is i.e XR2i, Ghia, etc etc. But i would have thought you would have to change the whole loom as your car is alot newer than the RS Turbo's. I could be wrong lol. Jamie

unless your very good with wiring you will not get past the pats system in your car and if you manage to find some one that can it will cost you alot more than a rs turbo loom would and they are very easy to fit too all you have do is strip the interior and dash out. i have a good rst loom if you need it. its complete and labeled up ready to fit, jon

Pats is easy to bypass. Just run the ign wire from barrel to the starter relay. Done.

i'm going to change over the wole loom, shouldnt be a problem, just trying to source all the bits i need

what about the fuel pump???? wiring to the ig. relay will run untill its used the fuel left in the line

im gessing you are talking about wiring up ofab or ofac?? its easy around 6 wires i converted my apprentises mk2 fiesta. he fitted the engine in his spair time and when it was in and he had plumbed in a fuel system i wired a xr2i ecu and loom up for him

but you cant convert it to an rs your just putting a different engine in.

It'd be better to drop a cvh turbo in it and make it a sleeper, rather then having replica. All imho.

im just dropping a rst engine and running gear in with steel wheels, a nice little sleeper
