Well they are quoted as being 90PS which works out to about 88bhp allowing for the perils of time I will guess at 85bhp

It will seem very nippy as you have no driving experience as yet. In all seriousness and not wishing to sound like a git I would say it was a bit much for a first car. You'd do better cutting your teeth in a 1.2 or something similar.

Nobody leaps straight into a powerful car as it's a recipe for a squeel of tyres and a car shaped hole in the local scenery

the mk3 ghia's have the same engine as the mk3 si 90ps, coz i had an si once. The lumps are very restricted, i had an induction kit, exhaust and a superchip and it made a lame 105bhp!!

I'm surprised it even made that mate. 105bhp out of one of those units is pretty good going

true.but am not a rich kid lol.erm i got it off my brother for £300.so not that bad plus its in good shape only done 60,000 miles.but i aint a racer so will get use 2 the car before i do anything like that.but i repect all your comments and thanxs for letting me know.cheers
