Won this earlier and collected this evening;

Very happy with it as I've wanted one for a while, needs a bit of work but I'm not too bothered by that. Only problem I have is I can't open the bonnet, think the cables snapped. Anyone had this before and know how to solve the problem.

Is the cable the same as a Saph as I have a spare one lying around.

Would've thought the saph one would be too long. To get the bonnet open, you'll have to get to the mechanism from the front / underneath of the car and work it manually.

Got the bonnet open the cables detached from the handle on the steering column, handles completly different to the Saph at this end, havent got round to getting the cover off to have a look yet as I can pull the cable using pliers.

Haven't fopund anything wrong down the drivers yet. Hopefully it will be a good project, last year was pent building the Saph onto anew shell as the old one had rusted badly, worse than this Fiesta.
