can anyone help ive got a fiesta rst & at high speeds there's a loud knocking noise comming from the front of the car its definatly not the engine not wheel bearing either think it could be drive shaft or gear box,engine mount?any ideas would be gratefull

could be engine mount, you could also hear your exhaust banging underneath .......

what about wishbone ? or anti-roll bar ? maybe one of the bushes has gone.

1.9 xr2 on 40's

i'd bet on a bush on the lower arms

could be a few things tho

have a good look u can usually see if sumthin has been movin where i shudent

ive had new wish bones/bottom arms ive got a feeling its a gearbox mount i deliver to kwik fit every day they said i could use there lift so ill have a better look at weekend!thanks any way!
