hi guys and gals

My gf has a little 1.1 fez, and the drivers door catch is wrongly aligned, and it seems to be slowly cutting through the part of the door frame

Can it be adjusted at all? Need to lower it a few mm i think. I tried loosening off the torx bolts a bit, but it wouldnt budge, and there doesnt seem to be any adjustment on the door side of the catch.

hiya pal there aint realy that much adjustment on either the best bet would be to open door, grab the bottom of the door and give it a little lift up if your gentle and not the hulk will raise a little bit.

prob the hinge pin fucked or even broken in the hinge.
ford dont sell them no more though so its a scrapy job and allow a waile to get 1 out let alone 2

lift the door and check for play, as above that can work but you got to give it some beans mate other wies it wont move.

failing that, get the rats tail file out and enlarge the bolt holes for the catch, you aint gunna get loads of movement but that little might be enough
