Fiesta mk3 (Escort Cossy RIMS)
Alright fellas
Got a mk3 fiesta, its pretty much going for a turbo look, but sourced some escort cossy rims for it...
So any of you with escort cossy rims can you help me.
Prob gna go 195/45's... Id imaging this is what you all have used too, but are they ok with standard rst suspesion as i dont wanna go over board with coilovers as its only gna be a runnaround...

if there 15s yeah, the 195/45/15s will fit a treat.
you "may" need spacers at the back, but remember, the spring cup on the back of the mk3 fiestas is at a 45degree angle, so if the lowerst point is wheel side, turn it so you have highest point wheel side, this will give more room.

I meant Escort Cossy Rims... DOH
So there 16's
Im planning on putting standard frst suspesion on it as its only a mk3 1.8D. But going the whole hog with the turbo look, but dont wanna go too overboard as i said with coil overs, wont be no point like.

cossi rims are wide, and the offset if way out, you will more than likly need spacers etc and trimming to the arch.
your better off with mondeo 16 inch alloys which look same as escort cos ones but are not so wide and the off set is better

I wanted to source a set to have for me escort cossy anyway, but thought why not use em instead of having them sitting in storage doing naff all and make me Fiesta look hard as nails too
Im pretty sure its 195's i need and is the widest tyre that can go on there, its just the depth that im not sure about...
There was a red FRST on here that done it.... Where are ya fella???

Escort Cossie rims really do the Mk3 Fiesta any favours. They look tough as nails but teh car will also drive like a nail. The ET25 offset and 8J rim width make them unsuitable. Seen loads of people hack the Hell out of their cars to fit them only to remove them within a few weeks as they ruined the way the car drove.
Honestly I would suggest leaving them in storage

Sorry mate,
I say as I find things not just say what people want to hear. I find it better that way in the long run
It's a shame they don't work as they look so bastard hard. Some people will rave and say they're the tits. These are the people who have probably never driven on properly specced wheels

I was hoping just to run standard frst suspesion, but may have a problem with the cups, but saying that, while there off i could get them modded maybe.

Im not really one for rep's but as its not my only car im not fussed. I think people who go to all the effort of repping there only car may aswell just go buy what ever it is there repping, as insurance would probably be as much through modding than anything else.
