Recent Mods (since the pics)

De-Pin striped
New boot lid with propper sticker
Recaros taken back out
mk2 1.1 dizzy fitted with x3ri limited rotor arm
American grille
lowered on propper -50mm springs
small rear number plate
New windscreen with tinted sun strip thing
Colour coded wing mirrors
Sticker removed from next to kill switch

I've got loads more plans for her which are just being held up my cash flow, I'll keep it up dated for ppl that maybe interested

it doesnt look right with the black pots, dunno why, maybe cos its a silver car? black ones look better on a white car i think. like rodneys. altho, looking at it again, it does look kinda cool. im undecided!

HAs it popped the drive shafts yet? 50mm is a bit far to lower them imho.

Not is hasnt popped a drive shaft, handles really well, the onlt negative affects of the lowering is the tyre wear, but fook it she looks mint

looking good mate. if i keep looking at these bloody mk1's i might have to get 1 to go with my mk2, i must say they are growing on me.

yes nige its crytons old car defo as bottom of bootlid has that silver tape on it still.

looks the bollox mate, black wheels make it look a right stealth!!!!

this was a quick car as was/is 1760 crossflow with all the goodies (just needed a set of twin 40's to finish it off.)

still has the 2 coils that cryton fitted (rally spec) lol

Thanks for all comments guys, i defo got a bargain @ Ł310, it only cost Ł8 to get it through an MOT (rear wheel cylinder)

It's only a 1690, well it has reciepts for +90 pistons so i presume so, it came with a rolling road print out of 109bhp and 113lb or torque at just 3k!

I'm either going balls out on the crossflow, massive cam, pocketed pistons 40s etc or...
I'm currently planning a full FRST engine transplant

It doesnt have the twin coils either, i've taken one of them off, aswell as dis-connecting the engine cut off, too many stupid cunts pulling it up all the time

get some vibratechnics mounts saves all the chew of putting new1's on all the time, there expensive but worth every penny

I have the same problem with mine so I got some of Tim on xrtwo.com they are escort mk1 or 2 ones they are round and are competion ones and they are loads better and cheaper.
