Thanks guys for your comments, much appreciated..

KEVFRST - I can appreciate what you're saying but this is something i have been wanting to do for a very long time, especially after driving my partners BEAST...

I have considered keeping it standard but like my partner SIDZVH does, i would like to compete in various events

I suppose it just comes down to personal choice at end of day

Thanks for your comments people

Yep, keeping the exterior standard with the exception of riding on coilovers and as stated before a new lick of paint...

Hoping to find source some new door mouldings but have heard they are quite difficult to get hold of... any suggestions would be appreciated

Wheels will be refurbed and dressed in some nice cut slicks as it won't be getting used all that often...

Also like to mention that there are some really nice looking cars in the above sigs.. keep the good work up people

We should have the other one back on the road soon after the engine dyno this month!!

I thought i'd add these pics for cuteness...

Our daughter pointed out that SHE TOO wanted a RECARO seat...

So here is the addition to the interior lol

Lol, i sold my 3dr cossie last year that was 330bhp, and im glad now to have controlable power

Ideally i would like mine to be over 200bhp, but if im honest im loosing interest , all the bad luck ive had with it etc... just gets a little dis heartening.

I know what you mean... It's taken ages just to get to this point, and it feels like an eternity till i reach the completion stage

But just gotta keep thinking it will happen one day, and when it does i will enjoy every minute of it

Black is nice but so darn hard to keep clean!!

When did Ian do that engine for you?
What's your speck?
Picked it up month or so ago! Of the top of me head, 2.1 16v, decent pistons, steel rods, arp bolts,L/Balanced,4 layer metal H/gasket,cam profiles have been slightly changed, modded helix 4 paddle, tubular manifold,t34 and obviously decent i/c,fuel pump, brake, ians lower arms

oh the list goes on........
And decent gearbox!!
Power at the mo should be 300hp!

Cheers

Erm well the engine took about 8 weeks and ive had it now for about 4-5 weeks so that long so far, its not theres millions of bits to do its time!
Waiting for hoses at the moment and an oil breather its bits like these that hold you up! Would of been much simpler if I hadnt gone for the different manifold

You planning on doing your engine anytime soon?

BVH already on the bench waiting for new spec camshaft to be fitted

Will try and get some pics of my engine being built up

Will go down the garage later today and take a few pics of how things stand at the minute.

As far as power goes, the bottom end will be built to a spec where it can handle big power like my partners with a bit of look. Not really certain what power it will be yet as we haven't decided how crazy we're gonna get with it.

With abit of luck though it might end up abit like my partners old spec.

Went down the garage earlier and took some pics that i promised.

Doesn't look anything special yet i know, but it's moving in the right direction i think.

Block stripped and ready for boring and a freshen up.

Cylinder head needs a clean up. Was my partners old spec head and is
New spec cam, double vavle springs etc will be oredered shortly for it though.

As for the turbo, it'll be a T3 with one or two mods i'm promised, FOR NOW!!!!! To be sent away shortly.

I know it's not much at the minute compared to alot of you guys on here, but it's work in progress.

Partners car is a bit of a handful to say the least!! and it's only been on low boost up to now

Even then it did well at the Mega Thrash last year

Him and Ian are currently in the middle of re-specing the engine and are waiting for it to go on the Dyno at Harvey's AGAIN!!

How long till you get to turn the key and fire it up?
Bet it's a daunting feeling but buzzing at the same time?

Keep us posted mate and get some more pics up
