With regards to your bumper, that's what i'm doing.. Think it looks fantastic, gives it that edge

I would definately cut the whole thing out....
I know what you mean about number plate being uneven, but i think once on and with the bumper modified it will look mean and ready

If ya want those details for that company for the dash, i'll pass them on to you

I'm having some fun in my car at the moment, now the weather is turning... Love it when it's cool outside lol

It seems that at the mo, i cant drive the car off boost!! Just wants to go, good fun up the bypass lol

With my bumper because I havent put the i/c that far forward if I cut the whole section out id have to get the sides filled as it would leave big gaps!!

Yeah I loved mine with the standard engine, spooled up soo quickly was good fun!Only thing now is mine will be ready for the shite weather Just cant wait to feel some zetec horses! Shes all booked up for le mans this yeah, hope it behaves itself over in france She'l be flat out from dover to le mans

Yeah the details would be good for the dashes

Is ians car ready yet do you know? Wasnt it supposed to be ready for the daddy thrash or something?

Sorry not wrote in while, just been busy

My bloody car wouldnt start tonight, and Sid's car hasnt got an engine at mo to jump start from

Luckily there were some builders near by who jump started my car...
Never done that to me before! Anway, thought it would be ok after this, as i had a 15 min drive ahead of me... When i got back in the car after being at my mums for an hour, it was flat, didn't even attempt to start

Luckily their next door neighbour gave me a jump start Then my dad had to give me another jump at TESCOS lol

So i've fallen out with it for the night lol...

Anyway how's u? What u been up to?
Any exciting plans for the weekend?

HI,

Spoke to Ian today and got confirmation that the engine is now finished, Ian is just waiting on the Exhaust Manifold, but apart from that the monster is complete

Liams - Spoke to Ian about getting all Areasix Cars together and he was in agreement, also suggested we had photoshoot together... What do you think??

Soz havent replied all weekend been a hectic one!!
Been working on the car today me welder friend was up making me my turbo damper and crossover pipe!
Wanted to get the car running this weekend just havent had the time so hopefully will be by next weekend

Got another mate doing some wiring for me tomz so theres not much really to do now, check all the wiring is ok,fill gearbox and engine up and brakes and thats it I think?! Shame as im having to take it back where the exhaust was made as the downpipe is no good being so close to the servo and having no speedo

Looking forward to seeing ians car go, going to be an absolute monster
Yeah that would be quality getting a photoshoot together!! Be an excuse to hurry and get yours done!!

Was on the phone earlier to ian as had a miner set back this evening, was putting all the final bits on to get her barked up to find one of the exhaust manifold nuts wasnt tightning up, thort it was strange then with my fingures I just pulled it straight out the head thread was completely gone !! So got a chap coming up tomoz to helicoil it hopefully all will be well and take 2

Was chatting about how I can get more power..... and its not even running yet

What you been up to?

Not much news on mine at the moment. Got my new camshaft kit (cvh35) and the block is going for boring in the next few days with abit of luck.

Sids was due on the dyno this week but has been put back to next week now. We've just picked aload of his new bits up tonight from Ians so he can start mocking things up on his now he's back.

I've been telling Sid, now he's back, about the Areasix idea, and he's more than up for it. Just means he has to get mine done abit quicker. Lol.

Yeah the cars up and running, been running for about a week now
Wiring in my second fan tomorrow so hopefully it will be on the road maybe tomz afternoon

Think I have to have the down pipe re-made though as its touching the servo which is no good!!

So providing the brakes are ok and I can get the tracking done she may be back on the road to start running in!! Wahoo!!

Good to hear yours is making progress, should book a day for the photos then theres no choice but for it to be finished lol!!

Mine is getting there FINALLY!!! I think our 'Photo Shoot' idea has worked LOL

Sid's engine was due to go on DYNO yesterday, although i think ended up running quite late, so not heard as yet of the results, we had an air leak so their main concern was to rectify first... They found that before Ahmed got there... So if unfortunately they did not get it sorted in time then it should be back on the DYNO on Monday if Ahmed available...
New gearbox gearkit arrived and is now being fitted plus new intercooler and rad are in and looks VERY STEALTH

Well on a bad note, i had a crap day yesterday regarding my car...
Some immature T***S decided to PEN my car whilst it was parked outside my office and Sid was there!!

At first it looked like they had gone down the side with a key, but Sid managed to get some of it out with his finger hence finding it was Permanent Marker....

Sid was kicking himself as he was outside my office with our daughter and didnt see anybody doing it

Anyway Sid managed to get the majority of it out with elbow grease and polish, the remainder had to be buffed!! Thank god he bought that bloody thing LOL

Why are people so pathetic? It just made me really angry but at least i was one of he fortunate ones and only had pen down mine not a KEY.... (yet )

Erm last wednesday I think, Yep roof is all dented at the front scuttle is bent at each end from the bonnet hinges and bonnet is mullered!!

Have got a brand new bonnet already (genuine ford) its the roof I think thats going to cost the money and be the problem Id like to get it all sorted soon as possible, depends on cost I suppose

I feel sick because Im not sure if I shut the bonnet pins properly, it all happened so fast didnt know what had happened!! Just had a face full of glass all of a sudden....as it smashed the sun roof aswell!!

Yeah im ok, could of been alot worse!! Just lucky really that I managed to keep it in a straight line and not across into the barriers as I couldnt see anything

I havent seen those photos yet, quite cool especialy the one from the front Piccys like that keep me going lol!

Ive got a bodyshop chap coming up one night this week from a pretty good garage so hopefully it'l get sorted soon as possible Just dreading what hes going to say about the roof!!

Unfortunately I havent the money to say just slap all new panels on...... might aswell do a resto in that case so what ever is repairable will be getting repaired im afraid!!

Hi mate,

Unfortunatly Sid's dyno session was cut short as they have decided to go down a different route now with certain things.

Although cut short, Sid and Ian as far as i know are very happy. After comparing his old 2003/4 spec dyno results just to some of the figures they got when he was there the other day, things are looking ...... rather good shall we say. On less boost and RPM all figures were up by a fair bit. He's not saying how much though. But he was

He doesn't want to say anything to much at the moment but the final results should hopefully make them both happy.

Next year should certainly be interesting by the sounds of it.

How's the motor? Any news on your next move, i mean are you having it repaired in January or will it be later on into the year?

My bloody starter motor and alternator decided to pack up on mine last week... Sid replaced my starter motor with his from his car but the alternators are different so there was a bit of a mad rush to get one of them and fitted in time for xmas... TYPICAL !!!

Apart from that not been doing much. Sid and Ian have had the odd drink or two and talked about there next move. From what i hear there's gonna be abit of a wait for some new bits which are being specialy made up for the engine, but then returning to the dyno to finish the mapping and seeing what they can get early in the year.

Good news on the car front, dropped the car down the garage today so hopefully il have it back all done within the week!! Well pleased!!

Driving along with no windscreen is quite funny, when I got to the garage I had tears streaming down me cheeks lol. The amount of looks I got with no bonnet, no windscreen and the front of my roof lining flapping about was amazing! I couldnt help but smile and laugh to myself

Flippin expensive mistake but oh well she'l be back very soon, put a smile on my face driving it today

About the alternators..... I found that out when I bought a new one of a friend but for an escort to get home and find out it didnt fit It was all nice and shiny too Glad to hear you got it all sorted though!!
