Default Deleting breather hose. Ok?

Hi
Has anyone ever permanently removed the breather hose on an MFI CVH? The one I'm talking about is the long hose that runs from the rocker cover to the air box still keeping the shorter hose connected to the inlet plenum and blanking off where the old hose was.
Will it have any adverse effect at all? I wouldnt be worried on any other engine but as the MFI engine is so temperamental when it comes to air leaks etc and I've now just got it running sweet after a lot of work and parts I don't want to cause problems but I am now going round the engine tidying it up, replacing hoses for silicone ones and painting various parts.
This long hose just looks messy to me and is currently held up with cable ties!

Block off the plenum hose, then run a single hose from the cam cover to a breather or atmos. Block off the metering unit/airbox hole that is left also

Yeah that's a good idea. Maybe fit a small catch can somewhere with the breather hose running into it. I would like to block off the plenum hose because I don't like the idea of unfiltered air coming from the engine directly back into the air supply

And it won't have any effect on the running of the MFI system HAZ?
Because the k jet system can be as touchy a woman on her time of the month!

If you do as i said (block off plenum, block off metering unit end) they you've essentially removed all air leak points. Then the cam cover can naturally breathe to whatever you choose

Will keep the mfi happy and the engine a bit cleaner inside
