Silver top on deep or desk ecu, I can't remember which, but really don't bother. Use the black top ecu.

where did you get the aluminium air housing that fits on top of the manifold?

I'm doing the same conversion and was looking at what to do with that and the bottom rad hose .

Hmmm, not sure what to fit on my blacktop yet then. It's got a two bolt fixing but the massive standard intake box thingy won't fit in the space.

Sorry to double post but the only other thing I was wandering is how people wired up the rad fan ? I have a 4 pin sensor on the top hose but can't find pin diagram anywhere.

Four pin sensor on the top hose ? Got a picture. Oem, the ecu switches the fan using the coolant sensor.

Saw it mentioned to use a rad hose from mk5 escort with the sensor on it and wire to relay.
can I use the switching wire from the Zetec loom to power fan on the CVH rad then ? Which wire or if you know of a wiring diagram that would be a massive help. ECU is BASH.

Fit a cvh thermostat housing to the zetec head with a adapter plate or drill and tap the head obviously harder to do in situ.

I wonder if the CVH switch will fit in the mk5 hose. Haven't got the CVH switch to try it though
