Funny you should say about a diesel conversion, might be the way forward dumping a oil buring lump into a RSi out of a Diesel van 
The funnest conversion I have seen (sorry if your the owner) was a cabby converted to a diesel with a S1 body kit with all the bits, classic!! Looks of a ERST with the performance of a tractor!!! class.

thats cause it was done on crappy pts rollers
it was 191 at power engineering - thats where it allways gets set up - so thats the figure i am using

Yeah and you know what they say about powers rollers dont you, if that was your last rolling road then amend that figure NOW as the actuator coming in early and thats the drop in power.

Powers rollers are always 40bhp to the better that wat the customer pays up happy 
if not lied too a little
