easiest way is to use a mk4 xr3i or simmilar dizzy and coil
wiring is very easy providing that when you get the dizzy you make sure you get the connecting lead, the black wire needs to go to an ignition live and the positive terminal of the coil, the brown wire to earth and the other which will be either a green or green and red will go to both the negative terminal of the coil and the green cable going to you're rev counter, obviously you will need to take off the twin coils and mount the dizzy in its place and get a new set of ht leads etc, the 16i ecu and gerbox sensor lead will then be redundant but its probably best to leave them in place just in case you need them again one day
