Default Real Thick Question Whilst I'm at Work

Whats the red light on the dash at the bottom next to the petrol guage? It looks like a fan in a box? Just wondering as I haven't got the Haynes to hand @ work and it came on for the first time ever on the way here today?

My one of them comes on when its a hot day and ive been driving for a while - mainly does it on motorways, really bizarre cos rest of the time its fine.

My dodgy oil sensor light is no longer dodgy either - it just doesn't come on at all now

Im not a part timer like some I can mention *cough* my car has to get me to work and home everyday at the moment so I cant afford for her to go bang, she's not running particularly well at the moment anyway - hopefully it's just the idle speed that needs adjusting.

Its actually really pissing me off at the moment, the small patch of rust that had started to bubble on the botton corner of the passenger door I recently noticed has actually eaten thru the metal from the inside and made a mess of the inside bottom corner. Doubt it can be welded so prob needs a new door

Need drivers wing re-spraying and the re-occuring bubbles of rust cutting out and plating. And to top that off the passenger wing paint has gone flat even after polishing.

As much as it breaks my heart to say it I really do think she'll be up for sale early next year once ive sorted the bits of rust out.

Possibly i guess but without a garage i'll find it difficult to keep it insured without taking out a full policy and it'll be difficult to keep the body work tidy if she's standing for the majority of the time.

Anyone wanna lend me an extra £50k so I can afford a house round here with a garage?! lol
