1.6 Airflow Sensor on a 1.8 XR3i MK5. Running issues Help..
Hi gang,
Been having constant running issues with my MK5 Xr3i Zetec 1.8..
My local lad told me it was the Mass Airflow Sensor. So I bought a new Hella sensor on Ebay..No difference..Runs like a pig once warmed up..Flat spotting and jerking on the motorway. Now I think the Sensor I bought on Ebay was wrongly listed for my car..It appears to be only for up to 1597cc.
So...my question is...Would the 1.6 sensor send the wrong info to the ECU and cause fueling issues.? I am hoping so cos its doing my head in lol..
