Right the me ol cabby 1.8 petrol zetec when cold it starts then dies....

1. If I blip the throttle it stops it cutting out.

2. If I keep throttle on till engine warms up then engine does not die, and when warm will start 1st flick of the key.

Any help with this most appreciated

The car has been sat in a garage for 3-4 years... so well in need of a service

Can the ICV be cleaned carb cleaner...?

Also the MPH needle doesn't work any ideas
