i used to own this bought it when it had done 79 k and sold it to the chap who owns it now about 4 years ago roughly,, know a fair bit about it, before i had i bought it off a young chap who hadnt had it long and could not afford to keep it, theowner before that restored it, it had new wings sills bonnet doors scuttle etc etc etc under bonnet work the list was endless, i had the head converted to unleaded but the eninge was pretty knackered by the time i sold it, it has changed hands about 3 times since i sold it and ended up bac to the chap i sold it to,, i seen it the other day and did consider buying it back but changed my mind as i would rather remeber it as it was when i had it. it has had the bottom end changed recently i think and isnt a bad car for a bit of fun,, i loved it when i had it!!! best of luck how much did you pay??

guy had no computer acces to end bidding but i think you will find it's done now. interested in seeing pics scott but sometimes you are better off not knowing your cars past, i think what you don't know doesn't hurt you.

ok no probs, but it has good past compared to most so nothing to worry about, you did post asking if anyone knew the car in the first place so i thought you might want some background,,

Can't believe it hasn't sold at Ł1600 already, looks a good one, especially with what Scottye has said above....

If I had the space I'd have it as a toy.

What's the mileage now mate? Do you have any interior pics?

I agree Ł1600 is a bargain, the RS1600i market is going up and down at the moment, one minute theyre geting snapped up the next minute you cant give them away there was a minty mint concours one on there a while back went for a ridiculously cheap price

Just hang in there someone will buy it
