radiator fan switch
 

Hi people im wanting to know if mk5 n mk6 escorts have the switch that screws into the radiator for the fan to come on.

Im wanting to so when i go to a scrapy i can cut the plug off the loom for the switch for my saff cossie.

Any help would be great.

Don't know about Escorts, it depends on whether they are two speed fans or not which is likely (The Escos is), if so then no (Hey that rhymes)

I know lesser model Sierras and MK2 Fiestas have the same connector, in fact we have a MK2 and it has the same red switch as the Cosworth lol, most likely it was standard across Fords with electric fans of the era!

Just what im thinkin is there will be more mk6 escorts in the scrapy than there will be sierras n.fiestas lol.

most normal mk6s have them in the top hose near the rad
