Anyone know where I can get a new oil filler cap for an RS1600i or where I can have the seals replaced on the existing one? Ford no longer stock them.

Im afraid you cant get the original metal oil filler cap for the motorsport rocker cover anymore, but you can pop down to your local halfords and buy a filler cap for a Mk2 VW Golf, itll it straight on.
Its easy to replace to rubber seal, just get said VW filler cap, carefully remove the seal from it ( only held on by two plastic lugs ) youll find that the seal is an exact size to your RS one. Now with a small scewdriver carefully prise out the old seal from your RS cap ( dont bend the metal lip back you dont have to! ) remove it and place the new seal in its place by carefully pressing it in with your fingers. Dont worry if you cant get it to fit properly behind the lip 1st time, youll find that when you put it back on the rocker cover the seal will push into place.

Just been up volkspares and tried a mk2 golf one on me rocker cover and they fit nicely, so I have a fancy blue billit aluminium one on order
