i own an r reg 1.8td escort van bought it for Ł600 just over a year ago, had to get a bit of welding on both sills and new bottom arms to get it through its mot last year but apart from that it was sound but very slow lol.
iv just this week had to get a new battery and 2 new heater plugs and i can honestly say its never started so well .
looking into getting a set of ford 15" alloys not sure which yet though

Flip your axle on top of the leafsprings. Search the forum there are some pictures there in the right topic/

was thinkin that man but wat way do i go about it cos i dont think the shocks will kine up and am i turning the actuall axel up side down or am i just sitting the axel ontop of the double leaf springs? im new to the van side of things so just want to be sure, dont want to make a bollox of it. thanks for the help by the way
